- 3 × Mounting Screws
- 1 × Weather-Resistant RJ45 Cable Gland
Tools Needed
Not included: Drill and appropriate drill bit, PZ2 Pozidriv screwdriver, and a Cat5e or higher Ethernet extension cable.
Before You Begin
- Test the camera: Connect the camera to the NVR and confirm that live video is displayed before installing it. Then disconnect the camera.
- Choose the mounting location: Install the camera about 10 ft / 3 m high and angle it about 15° downward for good coverage.
- Check the mounting surface: Make sure the surface can safely support the camera and mounting hardware. Camera weight: 0.95 lb / 0.43 kg.
- Avoid obstructions: Keep walls, branches, and reflective surfaces away from the camera's immediate field of view. Nearby objects can reflect infrared light and affect night vision.
- Plan the cable route: Decide whether the Ethernet cable will run through the mounting surface or along it through the camera's cable notch.
Installation
- Choose the mounting location. Decide where you want to install the camera and how the Ethernet cable will be routed. The cable can run through the mounting surface or along the wall or ceiling. Make sure the mounting surface can safely support the camera and mounting hardware.
- Position the mounting template. Place the template on the mounting surface and mark the three mounting screw holes. If routing the Ethernet cable through the surface, also mark the cable opening shown on the template.
-
Drill the holes. Drill the three mounting holes and insert the included anchors. The recommended mounting hole diameter is 0.24 in / 6 mm. If routing the Ethernet cable through the surface, drill a 0.98 in / 25 mm cable opening. Use mounting hardware appropriate for the surface material if the included anchors are not suitable.

-
Route and connect the Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable. Run the Ethernet extension cable from the NVR location to the camera.
- If routing through the mounting surface: Pull the Ethernet cable through the cable opening. Connect the camera’s Ethernet cable to the extension cable, then carefully feed the connection and excess cable into the opening.
-
If routing along the surface: Run the Ethernet extension cable to the camera location and connect it to the camera’s Ethernet cable. If the Ethernet connection will be exposed to moisture, install the included weather-resistant RJ45 cable gland.

-
Remove the mounting ring. Press down on the ring around the camera base and rotate it counterclockwise. Lift the ring away from the camera to expose the mounting screw holes.

-
Secure the camera. Position the camera base over the installed anchors. If the camera cable is running along the wall or ceiling, route it underneath the cable notch in the camera base and make sure it will not be pinched. Use the included mounting screws and a PZ2 Pozidriv screwdriver to secure the camera to the mounting surface.

-
Adjust the camera angle. Use a PZ2 Pozidriv screwdriver to loosen the adjustment screw located at the center of the camera base. Hold the camera firmly and move it to the desired viewing angle, then retighten the adjustment screw to secure the position.

-
Reattach the mounting ring. Place the ring back over the camera base. Press down and rotate it clockwise until it is firmly secured.

-
Finish the installation. Remove the protective film from the turret camera lens. Make sure the image is clear and there are no objects blocking the camera’s view.

-
Connect the camera to the NVR. Connect the other end of the Ethernet extension cable to an available PoE port on the NVR. Allow the camera to power on, then check the live view to confirm that the camera is connected and the image is clear.

Camera Connections
The camera has two cable connections:

-
Power input: Used to connect a compatible power adapter when required. Pull back the protective cover to access the connection.Note: When powering the camera through PoE, the power input is not needed. Keep the protective cover closed when not in use.
- Ethernet / PoE connection: Connects the camera to a compatible NVR or PoE network using a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable. When connected to a PoE port, the Ethernet cable carries both power and data.
Reset Button and microSD Card Slot
The reset button and microSD card slot are located inside a compartment on the back of the camera.

- Move the camera downward to access the compartment on the back.
- Loosen the two screws securing the compartment cover, then remove the cover.
- The reset button is located on the left and the microSD card slot is located on the right.
- To reset the camera, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
- To Insert or remove a microSD card, insert the microSD card into the slot and gently press it in until it clicks into place. To remove it, press the card inward again to release it, then pull it out.
- When finished, replace the compartment cover and tighten both screws securely.
Important: Keep the inside of the compartment dry. Do not open the compartment in rain or high-humidity conditions, and always reattach the cover securely when finished.
