If you have forgotten your NVR password, this guide will help you recover it. There are two ways to reset your password: by answering security questions you set up during the initial setup or by using the Lorex Connect App on your phone.

If you set up security questions, you can answer them directly on the NVR to create a new password. If you did not set them up, or if you are having trouble answering them, you can reset the password using the Lorex Connect App.

NVR Security Question Method

If you've forgotten your NVR password, you can reset it using the security questions set up during the Lorex Setup Wizard.

  1. Click the screen to open the Unlock Prompt.
  2. Click Forgot Password at the bottom of the prompt to open the Password Recovery screen.
