4K sharpness gets you the details you need
The 8MP image sensor at the core of your security cameras is capable of recording a 4K pixel resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 15 frames-per-second (FPS). With 4× the amount of pixels as a 1080p HD security camera, this camera will not only provide you with incredibly sharp and vivid video, it will also allow for greater digital zooms while reviewing footage. This is because the higher number of pixels will keep distant details decipherable for longer as the digital zoom is applied.
Stop trespassers in their tracks with Active Deterrence
Motion activated LEDs, a remotely triggered siren, and two-way audio make your security cameras an extremely valuable asset to your IP security system. For example, the LED lights can be customized to always be on, triggered by motion, or scheduled. The remote-triggered siren is also designed to stop trespassers right in their tracks. When motion is detected within the sensor range, the system sends an alert to your smartphone, allowing you to remotely access the camera and set off a loud siren to deter crime.
Listen-in Audio and Two-Way Talk
A built-in speaker and microphone allows for crystal-clear audio functionality. Listen-in audio recording will add a whole new dimension to your overall security monitoring, as it can provide additional details (like a voice) should an incident occur. This camera also has a speaker that allows you to communicate with others through the camera. *
*Audio recording is disabled by default. Audio recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Technology does not assume liability for any use of its products that fails to conform with local laws.
Full-color video, even at night
There is usually an automatic shift from full color video to black and white when lighting conditions change at night. This is not the case for this security camera. It features our revolutionary Color Night Vision™ (CNV) technology, which will produce full-color video in low-light conditions*, provide a further level of detail (the color of clothes or cars, for example), and add increased contrast for easier detection and recognition of people and objects
*Please note that ambient lighting is needed for full-color night vision. The image will typically switch to black and white infrared in total darkness to ensure maximum quality night vision.
All-weather security cameras
An IP66 weatherproof rating ensures safe outdoor installation for your cameras. They will continue to operate in freezing climates as low as -22°F / -30°C and as high as 120°F / 50°C. So go ahead and place these security cameras where you need them most.
PoE plug-and-play installation
This 4K security camera system will be up and running in no time thanks to Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. All that is required to connect each of your security cameras to your NVR is a single Cat5e ethernet cable run.
Remote viewing from your mobile with Lorex Home
This system is designed for use with our innovative, hassle-free Lorex Home™ app. With Lorex Home, you can quickly and easily view your security system remotely through your smartphone or tablet. You can also program the app to send you motion-activated push notifications straight to your phone to keep you connected to your property at all times. Simply download the free app, scan the QR code on the recorder and your cameras will appear for you to monitor (or review footage).
H.265 / HEVC encoding
Your security cameras and NVR are both equipped with High-Efficiency Video Encoding (HEVC) or H.265 video compression. This encoding technology efficiently compresses file sizes. In fact, it can compress file sizes up to 50% more than files using the previous encoding technology (H.264), without any noticeable degradation in quality. HEVC encoding will also save you plenty of bandwidth while watching live or recorded video remotely.
