Thanks to the camera's powerful 8MP image sensor, you'll experience the difference that 4K resolution makes when it comes to your security. 4K means there are more than 8 million pixels, and that results in sharper video, realistic color representation and superior digital zoom capabilities.
A 4K resolution security camera contains 4× the amount of pixels as a 1080p security camera. 1080p security cameras, for example, record a pixel ratio of 1920 × 1080 (a total of 2,073,600 pixels). Your cameras, in comparison, are capable of recording a pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 - that's a total of 8,294,400 pixels! It is important to note that a 4K television or monitor is not necessary for this system. The additional resolution will simply be there for you should you need to digitally zoom in on distant objects when analyzing footage.
This system includes a large 43-inch monitor that will help you get the most from your 4K security system. The sharp and clear screen resolution will allow you to see as much detail as possible.
The attractive, narrow-bezel design makes this monitor ideal for any security system set-up. You will receive vibrant, high quality, 4K images without consuming unnecessary home or business space.
Say goodbye to grainy nighttime video for good. Nocturnal security cameras are equipped with powerful LED bulbs that emit infrared light in the camera's field of view. Invisible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, this infrared lighting will allow your security camera to see in complete darkness.
For an added level of nighttime protection, Nocturnal security cameras can also capture color footage, thanks to our state-of-the art Color Night Vision (CNV) technology. CNV brings extra details to light, such as the color of a car, a person's clothes, and also provides better contrast for enhanced detection.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology ensures that you capture the most important details, regardless of lighting conditions. Dynamic range is measured as the difference between the brightest point and the darkest point of the video. HDR technology uses this difference to automatically adjust the picture's brightness, resulting in optimized, highly-detailed security video.
3D-DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology filters out digital noise from low-light scenes, as well as any noise caused by motion. By eliminating graininess, your camera provides a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection.
Although this camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, its IP67 weatherproof rating and aluminum casing means it can withstand pretty much anything, such as heavy snowfall, rain or wind. It has also been tested in temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) and as high as 122°F (50°C), ensuring year-round monitoring no matter where you live.
Easily connect this Nocturnal security system to our innovative Lorex Cloud™ app for your mobile devices. Securely view your security cameras from virtually anywhere in the world, keep track of all motion activity with easy-to-read timelines, and receive push notifications for motion-triggered events with the help of this app.
A single Cat5e ethernet cable run is all you need to get each of your cameras up and running. This cable not only powers the camera directly from the NVR, but also simultaneously transmits video data between the camera and NVR. It also provides a stable network connection and flexible installation options up to 300ft.
Included in the NVR is a built-in, 3TB security-grade hard drive that has been designed to meet the demands of 24/7 surveillance, while also providing ample storage space for all recorded video footage. With the possibility of increasing storage space up to 20TB (2
