Update: Alexa Compatibility on Select Lorex Devices

We are aware that Alexa functionality is still currently unavailable on select Lorex devices. Following our investigation, we’ve identified that Alexa integration is no longer supported on the models listed below due to changes in Alexa’s compatibility requirements.

• B451AJ – Lorex 2K Wi-Fi Video Doorbell (Wired, 32GB)
• B862AJ – Lorex 4K Wi-Fi Video Doorbell (Wired, 32GB)
• W452AS – Lorex 2K Wi-Fi Floodlight Security Camera (32GB)
• W891 – Lorex 4K Dual Lens Wi-Fi Security Camera with Smart Security Lighting
• W482 – Lorex 2K Spotlight Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera (32GB)
• SL300 – Lorex 2K Wi-Fi Smart Lightbulb Camera

These products will continue to function normally using the Lorex Classic app and retain their core features and performance.

We will continue to monitor any changes on Alexa’s platform and provide updates if compatibility becomes available in the future.
