Pre-recording is available only when using Motion Detection and can be viewed exclusively during local playback. This feature is not supported for Smart Motion Detection (SMD), continuous recording, or through the Lorex Classic app or cloud services. The duration of the pre-recorded footage may vary based on the recorder available cache memory at the time the event was detected, up to a maximum time set by the user.

"Installation was easy. The camera link up with the NVR was also easy. Installed the app and it's great getting notifications of motion. The setup instruction could be a lot better and more descriptive on how to adjust the sensitivity and threshold levels so snow flakes aren't sending numerous amounts of notifications. I feel the QR code for the setup should also provide a link for the manual download. But other than that I've had Lorex products for years and I'm hoping these will be the same."

I have a few questions. First, how do I change resolutions? How do I change to night vision ie. in b&w.? The ad says that I can zoom in or out, how can this be done?
As for the digital zoom functions, you have to launch the application and, once you have the live view of the camera open, just pinch outwards to zoom in, and pinch inwards to zoom out. Yes, the camera supports motion detection, and the FPS will depend on the resolution you set on the camera, Resolution/Frame Rate 8MP up to 15fps, 5MP up to 30fps, 1080p up to 30fps, 720p up to 30fps.
In playback mode, whats the FPS?
The FPS means how many frames the video will have in each second, so a higher FPS will give you a smooth video, you can adjust it depending on the resolution of the camera: 4K(8MP) up to 15fps 5MP up to 30fps 1080p up to 30fps 720p up to 30fps
