I Currently have the LHV2008

"I Currently have the LHV2008 with 6 Camera's SO i decided to buy these Wide Angle Camera's I replaced the Front Camera at the Front of the house and boy much better , LOREX should make these Standard to all there systems , these are a bit Bigger in size compared to the ones I have. . also a note don't use the screws that come with it screw head strip easy if you use them on hard wood (Old wood) if you use them with the plastic that comes in the package then your fine."

"These wide angle cameras were exactly what I needed to cover the front and back of my property. Way better then standard 90°field of view. So far they great. Easy installation just plug and play."

I own several models of

"I own several models of Lorex HD cameras and Flir Thermal cams. These are very poor. They are made of polycarbonate plastic. The camera body, the mount and the swivel. The 1080P image takes the bandwidth, but does not produce the clarity as any other model of Lorex camera I own on the same monitor. In the daytime. the center of the image is better than the outside, but nowhere is it 1080P quality. I believe this could be because of the extreme wide angle and the "anti-glare" bubble on the lens. At night, the " in good focus and not grainy image" is very close to the cam , also in the center of the image. I asked a direct question about how the plastic holds up in the Southwestern sun, and they avoided the answer. They talked about operating temperature and maybe look at a metal housing camera. I have been trying to return the pair of these, but got "rejected". I waited weeks right after I bought them and had to go online to find out my ticket had been rejected. No email, no reason, no nothing. Thus, I have opened a second ticket. By the way, sales are open on weekends, returns are only daily M-F."

Got the system last year

"Got the system last year as a Father's Day gift. Never did warranty till a few days ago cause my kids had sales receipt. Turns out they got it in February at Costco . The unit gets hot and shuts down (bad hard drive). Lorex said they will fix it free. Still in waiting paper work to send in. When it worked it was easy to use."

I needed cameras to provide

"I needed cameras to provide a wider view of my driveway and back yard and these are perfect. I think the image is clear and it works perfectly with my FLIR DVR. Installation is also easy. I was disappointed that I had to pay for cabling and a power supply when my house is pre-wired with a central power supply but I needed these two cameras in any case. If I could have bought the cameras alone at a discount I would have bought more."

We ordered these cameras and

"We ordered these cameras and then after a few months (10 months prior to the warranty running out) 2 of them stopped working. Absolutely no response from Lorex. Their online customer service system was useless and they don't pick up the phone or return phone calls. Very frustrating. The only reason we bought more cameras is because we NEED them for our business security NOT because we are pleased with their service. Very frustrating. Being a business, we strive ourselves on making sure our customers are satisfied with the products and services we provided them. I do not get this feeling from Lorex. Find another camera system if you haven't ordered one yet."
