"I bought a Lorex system in 2014 that was still running- but let's face it- 11 years and tech has improved- I bought this system as a replacement because my dad replaced his with this one and liked. It was simple plug and play- yes it's a painful and timely process to move the ladder around- but one time said and done- all connect and the OS is simple to navigate- and the best part- lorex cloud to pull up remotely. Customer service was great during the buy process via the chat thread. I don't trust anything other than Lorex. I bought the 16 black."

What is the range and distance of the cameras?
This package includes a 100ft cable for each camera, but you can connect them with a longer cable.
are the camera's powered by the CAT cable as well, no seperate power source
These cameras will receive power over Ethernet, meaning the NVR will power the camera if connected with a cable no longer than 300 ft.
Will this model allow me to check cameras from my phone?
Yes, you can get remote access on your smartphones, tablets and iPads from the Lorex Pro app.
