"I would rate it 5 stars. My only rebuttal to it not being 5 stars, is that I ASSUMED the price included a memory card. IT DID NOT. Upon checking the ad it confirmed that you have to purchase one. YOUR SUPPORT STAF IS AWESOME. I purchased a lot of your products because of my ability to contact a "live" rep."

Great image, but doesn't always record events

"The image quality is good and the build quality feels sturdy. The "event recording" leaves allot to be desired. I constantly get notifications, I can see the thumbnail, but when I go to view the recording, it says "no recording". I have tried multiple different sized memory cards, and tried formatting them as well, but no help."

Poor quality and a motion sense.

"Didn't read the fine print on the fact that it has to be hardwired for it to detect vehicle motion, so that's truly unfortunate. It doesn't even detect a person until that person is roughly 15-20 feet in front of the camera (the sensitivity is at the highest level). It only loads/works probably 75% of the time while my other cameras are working perfectly fine, so I know it's not an internet connection issue. My 2k camera that was half the price, works better and detects vehicles no problem. Only reason it's not one star is because when it's actually working, the picture quality is exceptional. Would not purchase again."

Battery life is limited to

"Battery life is limited to a few days. Doesn't come with a micro sd card. I cant get the camera to clearly focus or "spotlight" what I want to have a focus on. And I didn't double check to make sure it is compatible with my fusion recorder. So partly my fault for not calling to ask more questions before purchasing."

"It was great for a day or two, now it goes offline every couple of hours. I need to physically remove the battery to get it to reconnect. If I plug in the solar panel it goes offline in minutes. I have multiple Lorex cameras and the quality has become absolute trash. Very unsatisfactory"

Think twice and avoid buying

"I have several Lorex cameras and this one just doesn’t match up to my other cameras. Battery life is horrible and I’ve now purchased 2, one as a back up. 2-3 days max and still having recoding issues. I purchases cloud storage too! Total waste of money. I’ve called tech support and no change. The video is ok. I added a solar panel and still didn’t get the quality I was looking for. Lorex can certainly do better and I wish I could obtain a refund!"

Pain to get them linked with DVR system

"Bought two of these to go with the "compatible 8 camera DVR system". Got them installed on our shop at the back of our acre property, but not able to get them to connect view through the monitor with the other 8 cameras. There are not very good instructions or support to get these working properly. Have tried a new wifi router and a wifi booster and still not able to get them to reach far enough to be viewed on the monitor in our house."

"This particular model has an issue with IP address changes . Every time my Starlink assigns a new IP address ( almost daily ) This camera goes offline. . It remains offline until I activate it. Maybe a software update could correct this but it's not available or even an option. The battery life is good and the picture quality is good . The motion sensor misses a lot of movement and it is set to the max. Overall disappointed with my choice, mostly because of the IP address issue."
