...The WebUI will drive you insane....
"The NVR and Cameras appear top notch. Made of Steal! I have only been using them for a month so I can't speak to their durability or reliability. Night Vision isn't what I expected. It's all gray, I was expecting vivid night mode in colour. Maybe I got the wrong cameras???? I can speak to the constant dropped camera connections though. I can't trust the Web UI. I will log in and it begins to hang within moments. I can have all streams going and then one goes black. The Web UI has no documentation, links to knowledge base articles, or even hover over hints. You're stuck doing a lot of research. Support is phenomenal. You buy a product, and the support is just as important as the product itself. Lorex has A+ support. I get someone on the line within 3-5 minutes. RMAs within purchase date are easy. Install is easy. You need to mount them cameras but that's not a LOREX issue, that's a can you do it yourself issue. Cameras and NVR are plug n play. They see each other out of the box. It doesn't get easier than this folks. Side note, the patch cord they send you is not stranded. Which is excellent! You don't want stranded in your walls or ceiling, it isn't meant for that. You want solid copper, which is what they send you! A+ for that! I RATE LOREX 4/5. I was going to give them 3/5, but support brings them up to 4. The slow, unresponsive, glitchy Web UI is minus 1 STAR. The Poor documentation is minus 1 STAR."
