"My business with Lorex 2k NVR outdoor security camera system is a very pleasant experience. We purchased a set of this system last year and this system worked well until recently some defects appeared. I contacted Lorex company to solve the issue and replace the defected camera. The customer service staff responded my request quickly, and worked with the technical department and extend protection department to refund us！The extend protection department even thoughtfully recommended us another new system with lower price as replacement. I then followed their suggestion and ordered a new system. Regarding the current business environment, Lorex maintains a very high level of service by placing customer’s benefit as priority."

At least this package had functional cameras

"This is the second purchase from Lorex. The first order was purchased at Costco, the box sat on a shelf unopened for a while. When I did the install one of the cameras did not work, upon further investigation, you could see that during assembly the LAN cable got pinched in the housing causing the camera to fail. Lorex did NOT honor the warranty. Even though I had all of the original packaging and a time and date from the install of the product. Poor customer service. Next time Im going with a different company, and you should too!"

My outdoor camera system works well except the battery came with my pack (4x 2-cell battery) run out of quickly. The webpage of this pack shows the battery is TTR3, but not exactly sure whether 3-cell battery should be provided in this pack.....

Can the cameras be connected to the main power outlet 120V AC and use the battery as a backup if the main power outlet fails?
Yes, you can connect the camera to power via cable, leaving the batteries fully charged all the time as a backup.

This system is only compatible with cameras model U424AA.
Does each camera have a battery that has to be charged? I assume it would take a long time to charge each battery one at a time. You provide one charger for four batteries so it's going to be very time consuming if all four batteries need to be charged. Am I right?
Yes, battery powered security cameras need to be recharged every time. It takes 6 hours to charge the 2-cell battery and 8 hours to charge the 3-cell battery. These cameras come with a 2-cell battery and come with a power adapter for all cameras.
