When the nvr reboots all

"When the nvr reboots all the camera info defaults back to private, which makes the cameras Unviewable. This needs to be changed in the software so this doesn't happen when it reboots. I was away and tried to see my cameras and couldn't because I might of had a power outage and it reboot my nvr and I couldn't see the cameras remotely. When I got home, I had to reconfigure all the cameras to onvif intead of private."

The NR9082 has been running

"The NR9082 has been running smoothly for over a year with the 2K and 4K cameras. It works better with the 4K cameras which have more features. With the Cyber Monday Sales, I Just order another pair of 4K cameras with a wider FOV (LNB8921) hopefully to provide better and wider coverage."

the system was easy to

"the system was easy to set up and works great. My only issues is with tech support , such a long an drawn out process to replace one defective camera, three hours on phone and numberous emails, over one month to get a return label for a defective camera . Improve and simplify this process. other wise a nice system."

"Super easy to install , expensive investment but worth all the money . Rather pay more for the quality.very satisfied and recommend to others."

it was time to replace

"it was time to replace my old NVR that was only rated for 1080. I bought this new 4K so I could completely upgrade my system to 4K. Ordering was easy, I used the Lorex Website. Shipping, free and only 7 days ! Out of the box, easy to install and exactly the same as my older equipment. One big difference is just how quiet this one is. Set up and installation was a breeze and it was up and running almost as quickly as it was out of the box. I am completely satisfied with my Lorex equipment and recommend it to my friends. There has never been a technical issue or rather question that I have had that has not been resolved quickly for me. I rely on this equipment and I'm a fan for life. I also love the new app and how fast my cameras come up compared to the Flir Cloud. Great improvement !!"

Andrew (5/5)

I've been running this NVR

"I've been running this NVR for a year now and have never had a problem with it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the camera and NVR settings are very difficult to access via the Lorex Cloud app for iOS, Android, and Windows. Many settings and featured cannot be accessed remotely. If you want to do anything other than just view the cameras (like adjust camera image or NVR settings), you'll need to attach a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the physical NVR. I've basically begged Lorex to offer more robust applications so hopefully they will consider this in their next update."

I had to upgrade my

"I had to upgrade my 2K FXC WiFi cameras due to Lorex no longer supporting the technology for these cameras. Lorex would either replace the cameras with a free comparable cameras or I could opt for the $120 store credit for each of my cameras. I chose the store credit and decided to go with an IP 4K UHD NVR System. The timing of this was perfect as I just purchased a new home and planned on installing the 2K FXC WiFi cameras from my previous home at my new home. I chose the IP camera system instead of a WiFi system to avoid having to install electrical outlets for each of the cameras in the attic. Running the wires for the IP cameras were easier than having to splice into home electrical system at different locations in the attic. I am running fiber optic internet at the new house and I had that access point installed in one of the closets in my home, so I could hide all the devices (router, NVR and monitor) from view. I installed Lorex 4K UHD LNE8974BW dome cameras at the eaves and ran the Lorex included Cat5e wire from each camera in the attic. I ran the Cat5e wire inside the wall from the attic by drilling a hole in the top plate of one of the closet walls and dropping the Cat5e wire down to a low voltage electrical gang box with a Cat5e multiport cover plate, all for a clean install. The NVR system works great, it did take me a bit to get acclimated to the user interface. I was going to make my purchase over the internet, but decided to make the order over the phone instead. I'm glad I did because I got a better deal going that route. The only Con I have about the system is the phone app. I like the user interface of the old Lorex Secure app that I used on the old cameras compared to the Lorex Cloud app needed for the new cameras. It just seemed more user friendly, better look to it and easier to set up. Hopefully Lorex can make some improvements to the phone app. It does function well and serves it purpose though. Oh, one more thing, the fan on the NVR is audible, so I would not recommend placing it in a bedroom or living room because of that."
