Failed AX62TR after 5 years

"Mine stopped working after 5 years. Dead, no lights, nothing. The warranty is only one year. They do not make this unit anymore and according to support, you must have this extender AX62TR to connect distant cameras and the home center. I found a different model (AX61TR) that will work. (on my own, with no help from support in finding about this unit). Once I located it, support then confirmed that it will work. . I am awaiting delivery of the unit and will post again if it works successfully."

Hi, I have the Lorex 2K Wi-Fi Video Doorbell, but it is 160ft from my house, and we get a little wonky WiFi signal. We would like to get the Lorex WiFi Chime, and the specifications for that are that the distance between devices should be less than 100ft. If I add this product somewhere in the "middle" of the doorbell and the chime, would it work as expected?
No, this extender is not designed for video doorbells, it is only compatible with the L871T8E home center.
