This effectively reduces the number of unwanted false alerts caused by moving branches or animals. Recorded motion alerts can easily be reviewed by using the Smart Search function.

These are great little cameras

"These are great little cameras that look good, have a solid picture, and the smart deterrence features are pretty slick. During the day everything is excellent. However at night these cameras do very poorly unless you have an external light source of some kind. I mounted my cameras looking down a narrow walkway on the side of my house so it's basically aiming parallel of my wall but the rinky dink IR light built into the camera makes my wall shine bright and the walkway completely dark. I wish Lorex would boost the IR illumination built into the camera. I am going to have to add external IR lights to make these work as intended."
