  6. Accessing your security system remotely requires a high-speed Internet connection. Ensure your NVR has a wired connection to a router (not included). A minimum upload speed of 6Mbps is recommended for reasonable video performance.
  7. HDMI output supports 4K HD for high definition multi-channel live or recorded video viewing. Image quality and resolution is dependent on the type of camera connected to the NVR, as well as TV/monitor resolution.
  8. Detection types need to be supported by the camera.

"I've been most experienced with the H-series and NVR910. I don't think there is anything on the market that provides the highest quality 12MP (4k+) images at this pricepoint. I've been reasonably happy with the performance of the wired system. Haven't used the wireless fusion option yet."

This is an excellent NVR.

"This is an excellent NVR. This replaces the same NVR that was damaged by a lightening strike. From 6 years of use, it has been flawless. I set mine to record non-stop. It holds data for only 6 days using 6 wired cameras. So 2TB is not enough. I wish I had 8+TB of storage. My equipment is subjected to winter cold and summer heat and works flawlessly. I rate this system a solid A+!"

I think this purchase was

"I think this purchase was a mistake. The wireless feature does not work even only 25-30 ft away. I am forced to run a cable that I was trying to avoid. Your instructions stink. I have purchased 4 of the Lorex systems starting in 2007 and upgrading every few years. This is the last one I will buy. Your support is horrible. It's time to try a new supplier. You are free to post this very negative review!"

Very disappointed. Research indicated a

"Very disappointed. Research indicated a good product so I went with it. This suite of cameras and nvr are terrible and the software/app is the worst on the market. The app doesn't even know that 6am is after 10 pm. I can't connect 2 cameras as there is no manual way to add as the software doesn't even list the newer cameras. Avoid this company if you value your sanity."

"Thank you for allowing me to review my Lorex fusion system. I bought this system to replace an old system that I had for years. I like the features of the N910 NVR, and I bought a four camera bundle through Costco last August. I liked the system so much that I added a doorbell camera, chime, and a additional wired camera to complete my system. I enjoyed being able to remotely view video that was captured on my property, and I enjoyed being able to look outside through the cameras when an alert was triggered. I had the system for nearly a year, when during some remodeling, I had to remove the NVR and upon reinstalling it I dropped it from a couple of feet and it failed. Instead of sending it in for repair, I bought a brand new N910 NVR. I had become pretty savvy with the user functions and features that I copied my configuration and applied it to the new recorder. I ran into some trouble and needed to place a call into technical service. During the call I had to remove and reinstall the app and I wish I never had done that. Because now I get an error message “uh-oh, something went wrong please tap and retry. ” it happens so frequently that the system now is unreliable for any instant or remote viewing in a timely manner because about 70 to 80% of the time, I cannot click and use the app to remotely view videos or live view. I am so disappointed in the system as it is now. I know that if I wanted to use a monitor and sit at the monitor that the camera system and the way it records, records perfectly, and to my parameters that I put in. But using the app on either an android or an iPhone, doesn’t matter which device, the bottom line is the app is useless in total and I see on the app reviews in the App Store that I’m not the only person with this problem and I’m hoping that the app developing team can remedy this because right now as my system stands I’ve got nearly $2000 tied up into the system and I might as well use it as a boat anchor without a properly working app. I am hoping that someone will reach out to me from app development or from someone in management because I am totally disappointed with the way that I’m supposed to maintain surveillance over my property using a lousy application. It is a pretty bad feeling to get a driveway alert that there is a person in my driveway at 3 AM and I can’t use the cameras to see who is in my driveway because the app fails most of the time. I need a remedy to this situation because I feel like I’m not the only one in this situation who has spent a lot of money on a camera system for it not work properly and I feel like this could be a class action lawsuit in the making. Since I bought my system, I noticed that there are other Lorex models introduced so I wonder if app development has gone to new products and those of us with older products are hung out to dry. I’d be happy with being able to revert to the previous app version. Please feel free to contact me. I’d be happy to share other issues with the app, for instance, the video always reverts to SD and I always have to click HD. It’s a smaller issue and is not my primary problem. I like the system. I need the app to be usable. I’m rating 1 star because the NVR is useless to me without a working app. I’ll change it to 5 stars if you fix the app. I hope this review helps "shape the future of Lorex". Thank you"

So far not very happy

"So far not very happy with the system. I have spoke to at least 3 Lorex helpers, and still cannot get the cameras to work. I will try again this morning to see if we can get them working. The people I dealt with were all professional ,polite and patient with me as I am not a technical expert. This is the fourth system I have purchased and by far the most frustrating."

"DVR needs more memory to operate. Too slow. Cryptic dashboard for data entry in fields provided. Allow more than one user to be concurrently logged in. Great picture quality. Setup was was good. Interfaces were operational ."

I assume that the Fusion setup is for wi-fi cameras and other DVR's / NVR's will not work with Wi-Fi, is this correct? Does this system work with my W881AAD cameras (wi-fi not wired)? I assume that the setup is completed through my Lorex cell phone app and nothing to do with the PC, is that correct? Can I access via my PC as well? Is it easy to setup? What are some other options available for my cameras?
Yes, your W881AAD camera is compatible with the N910 recorder model, you need to set up the camera on your phone first and then use the recorder menus to add the camera, once you add the camera to the recorder, you will be able to see it in the software.
