The 3TB security certified hard drive in the MPX1616MUW’s DVR is specifically manufactured to manage high workloads. It can be in constant operation and will safely continue recording even while you review footage. Trust top quality functionality - the hard drive can save weeks (even months) of reliable security footage. Record at a lower resolution or program scheduled recording times to maximize hard drive space. The motion-triggered recording option saves additional storage space by keeping watch 24/7, but only recording when movement is detected.
