"This wifi battery doorbell is connected to 2. 4 wireless and shows a great connection. I consistently cannot access live view or the settings(Gives the something went wrong notice). When the doorbell button is pushed l, the notification is very delayed, sometimes up to 1 hour. I charged the battery yesterday morning at 8am to 100% and it today at 9am it was at 42%. I called Lorex two times and they were no help."

Not As Advertised

"Battery life is horrible. They advertise up to 180 days. I can only get a couple of days with no one even coming by or ringing the doorbell. 100% battery on Monday…currently Wednesday and it’s at 35% with no activity. Customer service is non-existent. Chat is for sales only, email was never answered, and phone call never got by a lady who claimed I didn’t own any Lorex products and didn’t have an account so wouldn’t help me!!!"

Doesn’t work

"I have tried every troubleshooting option and come to the conclusion that the camera is defective. The live-stream only turns on when motion is detected. After 2-3 mins of inactivity, it shuts off and you cannot even view a livestream until it detects motion again. If you try to view a livestream otherwise, it will load and say “uh-oh! An error occurred. ” You also can’t access recorded events/videos while the livestream is down. I have factory reset it twice to no avail. Seems like the other reviewer had the same problem."

Latching mechanism

"While the function of the camera and wifi link worked very well, the latching mechanism into the wall mount plate was poor and it failed during installation. Bad mechanical design in my opinion as there was no way to examine the mechanism without dismantling the unit. Lorex was prompt in replacing the unit, but I have yet to install it."

"Horrible product. Poor batter doesn’t even last 5 days. They claim up to 180 days of charge based on 5 events. Meaning at 20 events per day the battery should be averaging at least 21 days. But not the case, don’t waste your money or time charging this doorbell."

Not Good 4K Battery Doorbell

"I own multiple Lorex products, while my cameras works and old version of the doorbell works. I tried this product at my parents' house and the battery version does not last longer at the lowest default quality capturing, after 1 day the battery went from 100% to 73% with only few detections. Sometimes it detects a person, sometimes it does not. My father was not even captured leaving the house going up to his car and leaving. I tried to go to the highest sensitivity and working with the settings as done with my previous cameras, but did not help. While I recommend the NVR powered cameras and doorbell 2k, I won't be recommending this 4K Battery doorbell. A lot of improvements is required to be reliable and provide the security that we desired for a battery doorbell. Unfortunately waiting on the refund for the item."

If your transformer has 2 separate ports to connect 2 different devices and supply them with the necessary power, yes, you can connect both to the same one.
Will this device connect and record to the Fusion N864A64B?
No, this doorbell is not compatible with recorder model N864A6.
When setting this up in the Lorex app, why does it say that setting it up on battery is preferred over setting it up with a wired connection? It shouldn't make a difference, should it?
