The Chime Box works but
"The Chime Box works but has very limited functionality. Working with Claude AI, I've tried every possible means to connect the signal sent to the ChimeBox from my doorbell push button to my Google Home Automation system. Unlike competing ecosystems, Lorex does not make this possible. Lorex has extremely limited Home Automation connectivity and Lorex online support requires extremely long waits, and I have yet to have them solve any of my connectivity and home automation problems."

I works great and loud
"I works great and loud enough that we can hear it in the next room when set to the loudest setting. We have had no problems with it at all."

The doorbell chime box is
"The doorbell chime box is loud enough for my 91-year-old mother to hear it and it looks small and inconspicuous as it is a small box. No one will notice it plugged in the outlet."

Works but over-priced
"Works great but cost more than a good doorbell. The problem is I wanted everything on one system."

This is about the doorbell,
"This is about the doorbell, not the Chimebox: Delivery was prompt and well communicated. Installation was mechanically challenging but doable as the instructions are in very fine print. Establishing a connection however was beyond frustrating. After three (3) calls to Support (we received no ticket/case number with the first call, asked for one on the second, but in both instances had the call dropped while trying to follow directions). After the third call, handled via what sounded like google translate, and still no success with connecting to the network, we were told to wait three business days for follow-up. By this time we had repeatedly, to each individual in Support, confirmed that we had purchased the item recently, from the website, that voltage was correct, wiring was correct, router was adequate, internet service was sufficient, repeating the connecting process on different phones multiple times, as well as read ID numbers and serial numbers printed in miniscule font, and generally jump through hoops over and over again when the problem was the product. We missed that first follow-up call, then called Support a fourth time. After this conversation we were told Lorex would send a replacement unit, which arrived in a couple of days. That unit functioned as it should. Returning the first unit was seamless. All of this was complicated by significant language differences and phone transmission quality that made conversations difficult at best. The product might function very well but it will be forever contaminated with the history of hours spent in futile efforts at set-up. If only the threshold of suspicion had been lower, and Lorex had been more willing to accept the possibility of a faulty unit, we might not have had to spend as much time repeating the same steps over and over again. Now the doorbell rings, the chime helps us hear it in other parts of the house, and the camera captures a nice image. Yay."

2k wireless video doorbell no w/T-Mobile
"DO NOT get the wireless video doorbell if you have T-Mobile. Lorex cannot figure out to get them to work on a T-Mobile internet. Lorex said this was also an issue with Starlink, but they say that has been worked out. Poor customer service. Thousands spent on a security system but can’t use a video doorbell with it. There should be a disclaimer on the product on their website, but there isn’t. So hopefully this will help inform before you buy."

Does not currently work with Lorex Classic
"Lorex has been my go-to. I have tremendous faith in their products as it has served well for my whole home system. Every camera and system I’ve purchased has gone beyond expectation. Unfortunately this chime does not work with the updated app (now Lorex Classic), so adding it to the system is currently not possible. Have submitted an issue to Lorex for potential remedy, otherwise may be the first return I’ve ever had to submit."
