Good recorder but user interface sucks

"Installed it for 6 cameras (5 wifi, 1 wired). Works well once setup, but user interface could be improved. No remote access to all functionalities. Local access requires device to be installed where screen and mouse can be permanently connected and usable (couldn't be installed on shelf with other network equipment in my case). Moreover, external keyboard is not supported (entering text and passwords is cumbersome using mouse on small displayed keyboard). I wish I knew that before buying."

I was cautious buying this

"I was cautious buying this but I made the right choice, it’s honestly very easy to use and there is a lot of support videos available. 2TB is a lot of space, I have 3 wireless cameras running almost estimating 3 months or more of continuous recording time. It would be nice if it had a secure lock so I can tie it down with a secure cable. This would be the first thing stolen at time of a break-in. Also when running obviously a little loud so it shouldn’t be in the same room as you sleep. Overall great purchase, very satisfied"

"I mainly picked the NVR because it was a close match to the one I bought originally which made hook up simple and it was compatible with the cameras I already had. Installation was very easy and setup easy also. The only thing I needed help with was getting the camera views to show on two iPhones at the same time. Lorex Tech Support gave me the instructions to solve the problem so now everything is working perfectly. Great service and very good product."

"Ordered this unit as a replacement for the previous generation that finally gave up the ghost - lasted great in a very poor environment - swapped out the 2TB for the previously installed 6TB and all is working great again. This generation has a much better interface and the streaming video is much better quality. System is linked with another Lorex NVR and is used both stand alone and with Lorex Cloud."

Is this NVR compatible with Lorex 2MP bullet cameras #MCNB3153? I have six of them my system.
