Experience enhanced clarity and capture important details even at night thanks to Lorex's exclusive Color Night Vision™ (CNV). CNV works best with the help of plenty of ambient lighting. In the event of minimal ambient light, the cameras will revert to IR (infrared) night vision. These cameras have an IR range of 135ft (40m) in low-light settings and 90ft (28m) in complete darkness.
HDR - High Dynamic Range
Your security cameras use HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology that works to ensure you capture the most important details, regardless of lighting conditions. Dynamic range is measured as the difference between the brightest point and the darkest point of the video. HDR technology uses this difference to automatically adjust the picture's brightness, resulting in optimized, highly-detailed security video.
DNR - Digital Noise Reduction
Your cameras use DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology to filter out noise from low-light settings as well any noise caused by motion. By eliminating graininess, your camera provides a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection, enhancing your HD experience even in the dark! Not only does DNR reduce noise, but it reduces video file sizes as well, giving you greater disc space for storage.
Weatherproof & cold climate capable
Both sets of cameras are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Their IP67 weatherproof ratings and aluminum casings mean they can withstand pretty much anything, such as heavy snowfall, rain or wind. They have also been tested in temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) and as high as 122°F (50°C), ensuring year-round monitoring no matter where you live.

Plug-and-play installation via PoE
Connect IP cameras to the integrated Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) ports for a truly plug-and-play surveillance experience. Each camera only requires a single ethernet cable to connect it to the NVR thanks to PoE technology. Simply insert one side of the ethernet cable to the camera and the other to the NVR and your cameras will be ready. This all-in-one cable provides both power to the camera and video transmission up to 300ft / 91m. This means that you do not need to install your security cameras to a power outlet nearby.
High Efficiency Video Encoding
Save up to 40% storage space with HEVC (otherwise known as H.265) video compression capabilities. Thanks to this improved compression, HEVC delivers significantly better video quality with similar file sizes as H.264. This means that HEVC will keep the 2K video quality, but save you plenty of storage space. It will also let you watch the highest quality security footage while you are away from your home or business without large data transfers.
Reliable security-grade hard drive preinstalled
A 3TB security grade hard drive (expandable up to 2 × 10TB) comes preinstalled within this NVR. Designed to meet the high workload demands of continuous security monitoring, this heavy-duty hard drive can reliably record weeks (even months) of footage without taking a break. All recorded footage is then safely stored on the hard drive where only you can access it, so there are no surprise fees or monthly cloud subscriptions.
Two storage bays
This NVR comes with two separate hard drive bays. Each of which can be upgraded with a hard drive up to 10TB, giving you the potential for a total of 20TB of storage space. You can also use the second hard drive to record videos in parallel with the primary hard drive. This way, the footage is automatically backed up.
