1. Compatible with LHV1000 & LHV2000 Series only.
2. This camera features an ultra-low light sensitive image sensor and therefore does not feature Infra-Red LEDs. The camera requires ambient lighting (for example, street/ building lighting, star or moon light) to render a night time image. In total darkness (zero Lux), the camera will not produce a night time image and therefore the camera should not be installed in completely dark areas.
3. Not intended for submersion in water. Installation in a sheltered location recommended.

"I have been a loyal Lorex customer for years. I have utilized their apps and DNS. Yes the remote service can be a pain to set up. But after you understand port forwarding, it works well. I have 2 PTZ cameras and 8 stationary cams. Originally installing the 960h system which performed well. Then one of the ptz cams went out and I couldnt seem to get any help from Lorex tech support. The used to send email confirmations when you took the time to create a ticket but that seems to have gone to the wayside. Eventually I was upgraded to the 2K 1080 MPX DVR and got upgraded to the new 1080HD ptz cams. Wow! Big difference! Also, today I sent in a tech support question about a news flash that came over my Flir Cloud app indication that Lorex Cloud was going to be implemented. I found Lorex cloud at the app store but reviewers dont like it and an inquiry at lorex technologies.com got me nowhere. So Im at the position that Lorex systems are great but their tech support is non existant and your pretty much on uour own when problems arise. Sorry to have to say that too!"

"It's a decent camera. Even though I have an MPX system, I have not yet been able to make the pan feature work that I programmed into it. It could just be my configurations, but I've been through all the settings and made sure everything related was enabled. Otherwise, it seems like a decent camera."

"I use this for my home property. Traffic is heavy accidents happen all the time plus the foot traffic is increasing every year. Since my lawn decorations are being missing and since I got this they have stopped. It a cheap investment for a better piece of mind. Thank you Lorex for being part of my family now. I also have a 16 camera HD system as well. Steal from me know."

I upgraded my old system

"I upgraded my old system which had a smaller PTZ on it (720 HD) which worked for what I needed, however with my new 16 channel system I felt I had to buy this. This PTZ is a monster, very well made and easy to put up. A truly fun toy to add to your system if you live on big land or just like the convenience of "checking in" on your place."

Excellent camera, easy installation, great

"Excellent camera, easy installation, great night vision but will need a small source of light to function (street light). Great zoom features and excellent customization features for programmed tours and all security requirements. Camera will not auto track if your looking for this feature but provided excellent quality and picture definition. I download the operating manual from the Lorex support site & found it very intuitive for all the features."

Great and easy to use

"Great and easy to use ptz camera. Very clear and not choppy. Almost perfect- -just wish it had motion tracker on all presets, not just only able to set to one. Wanted to record tours of presets but it can't. Instructions aren't the best. Write down your serial number before installing if you can find I for registering/activating your warranty; it's not in your paperwork or receipts or account info! :("
