Awesome product, installation was so
"Awesome product, installation was so easy, mounted this on ceiling just above the front door, plugged it in and setup was done in minutes. Clarity of the video stream is excellent, love the home-away feature and the ability to adjust the field of view so passing vehicles do not trigger the motion sensor, definitely will be adding more around the perimeter of my home."

This camera is great. Love
"This camera is great. Love the Full HD display and the built in lights. The only draw backs I can think of on this product are a reliable app for your phone so you use outside your home network, instead of crashing when trying to use the 2-way feature, and the sound of the alarm and 2-way speaking is not loud enough. Thought there could be an option to adjust the sound; however, Lorex apps are useless from all the reviews I've researched."

Wow, I am amazed how
"Wow, I am amazed how better these Wifi cameras have gotten. Do not get me wrong, these will not replace 4k quality cameras. When Lorex sent a message to all customers about the end of the Lorex Secure App and will no longer support their original Wifi "FXC33V" cameras I was concerned. They also stated that there will be no more Cloud Storage so, you will have to rely on a SD card that came with the camera. However, I was able to get replacements in a timely manner with all questions and concerns answered. This New "LNWCM22Y" Cam is way better than its predecessor such as Clarity and Loading times. The New App "Lorex Home" features are great too, such as Continues recording, Motion Light, Longer Clips, and Siren. The downside, Lorex no longer supports Cloud storage and relies heavenly on the SD card provided or owner's for this device. Not a big deal, unless the SD card gets corrupted while recording which is rare. I also notice, when I format one of my replacement cameras storage from the app, the motion detection randomly stops working. I will have to trouble shoot such as, restarting, removing the plug, and settings. This is inconvenient if you are away from your cameras and cannot figure out the cause. Going forward, I'm not formatting my storage device anymore due to this problem. Overall, I am happy with my replacements and hope Lorex can continue improving their Wifi Cameras."

Thank you Lorex for honoring
"Thank you Lorex for honoring the FLIR-FX customers it is appreciated. The one thing I like about my FLIR-FX camera was that it also had a room temperature and humidity monitoring sensor. I am sorry the replacement product does not have this. I hope the guys at Lorex Product Development are working on this."

I too received this camera
"I too received this camera as a replacement for my two FXC33V that were no longer supported. I give a big thumbs up to Lorex for replacing my two old cameras at no charge/cost at all, though I did have to do an online chat with them as their online form was not working for me. Also, it took a little longer than expected to receive the replacements, almost 2 months between the time the old cameras lost support and the time the replacement cameras arrived at my door step. Anyway, in just about all regards, this camera is a step up from the old ones. Though both cameras were advertised as 1080p, this one has a vastly improved picture quality compared to the FXC33V. The frame rate is significantly higher as well. It is still pretty much impossible to see read the individual numbers and letters off a license plate if it is more than 15 or 20 feet away, but regardless, I'm pretty impressed with the image quality. The app used to interface with the camera (Lorex Home) is also many steps above the app used to interface with the old cameras (Lorex Secure). Is Lorex Home perfect? No, but it's much more intuitive and the UI is a lot less cluttered IMO. Bottom line, I probably could have set everything up even without reading the one page quick setup instructions that came with the camera. It was also very simple to get two cameras setup under the same account. One thing to note, if you want to share viewing the cameras from multiple devices, you will need to create a separate Lorex account for each device. One device will be the main account which actually has the cameras associated with it, and all the other devices need to share access to the cameras via the main account. Only the main account can change settings and do maintenance to the cameras, while all the shared account can only view images and footage. BTW, I'm using it with iOS, and like I said earlier, the UI is pretty decent... I'm guessing Android won't be too much different. The camera functionality itself isn't that much different than the FXC33V, the most important feature, IMO, is setting up Smart Zones to monitor movement. Which this feature is great, the UI to set up the area to monitor for movement is probably my biggest complaint. You can highlight parts of the screen to monitor for movement by dragging your finger, but if you accidentally highlight a part you didn't want to monitor, you have to clear everything and start over, you cannot just "unhighlight" a section of the screen. Aside from that, the siren and flood light, which not super bright, are easy to turn on and off and arm. The two way microphone still has a pretty significant delay on the order of a couple seconds, but it's much less than the FXC33V camera and app. As for mounting, I'm mounting the cameras outdoor on the sides of my garage, so I'm using the ball and joint socket mount. It is much easier to adjust and mount than the FXC33V mounting system, owever, this comes at a pretty big cost, the articulation is very limited compared to the FXC33V. I'd estimate you can at most tilt the camera about 40-45 degrees away from center in any direction. Many other cameras you can tilt as much as 90 degrees from center in any direction. This was disappointing as I didn't want to drill a new hole in the side of my garage to position the camera in a location that would accommodate the limited articulation, instead, I'll just have to live with a less than optimal framing of videos of my front door area. But I do want to reiterate, this one is easier to mount and adjust than the FXC33V. In summary, I'm very pleased with the service and free replacement of my old Lorex cameras. The image quality and app UI are head and shoulder above what I used to have. The only bigger annoyance I have is how limited the outdoor ball and joint mount is in terms of articulation. Other than that, I really can't complain abou..."

I received this camera as
"I received this camera as a replacement for FX camera. From the start I can tell big improvement in sound an extra options ( deterrent light, siren, indoor/outdoor). App "lorex home " is good and ease to use. On the down is lack of cloud and no software for PC or MAC ( which would eliminate need for cloud). But that something for Lorex to work on. Wonder to see what will come up first. I generally like what Lorex brought to market this year. Way to go."

I was not happy about
"I was not happy about my previous two cameras being replaced and a new app. But I have to say these replacement cameras are just a nice. Taking some getting used to a different app but the app does what I need. I just ordered another one to go with the two Lorex sent to replace my old obsolete cameras. They do make good cameras."
