The converter is made up of two units – one transmitter and one receiver – which allow an analog wired security camera to transmit video and audio (optional; audio camera required) wirelessly. The transmitter sends data from the camera to the receiver, which allows you to view and record wireless video on your DVR. With the wireless converter, it's easy to install your wired camera in areas where it would be difficult or impossible to run video cables. Install your wired camera on a detached building such as a garage, barn, or shed without having to bury long stretches of cable. No need to keep your camera permanently in one place – it's easy to change the camera's location as needed.

Compatibility Notice
This Digital Wireless Converter is compatible with analog wired security cameras. It is not compatible with HD-SDI, HD-CVI or IP cameras
