Q&A

Can this product work with the E841CD I couldn't find the information in the compatibility page
Yes, you can connect your cameras to this switch. They are fully compatible and will function correctly with this setup.
Will this show all eight cameras at the same time or do you have to switch between them
That feature depends on the recorder you add the cameras to, but yes, they all support 9 views.
Can this switch be used in another building to connect 8 cameras via one wire between the seperate building and my recorder? I'm trying to not run 8 separate wires to the other building.
Yes, just keep in mind that the PoE switch must be connected to the same router/network as the recorder.
If I bought this ethernet PoE+ switch with ip cameras separately, can I connect my cameras, through the switch, through my router without the use of an NVR so that I could stream footages on my PC (using some kind of software connected to the Internet)? Or do I really an NVR designed for PoE cameras to manage and stream videos?
The cameras will turn on and you will be able to access them individually only through the local network using a computer and the IP address of each one, but the videos will only be stored on an SD card (only if your camera has an SD card port) and you will not have remote access through any app or software, neither from your phone nor from your computer.
Does this switch add an extra 8 channel more to N843? making a total of sixteen (16) channel poe
The N843A8 recorder supports up to 8 channels, even if you connect an additional PoE switch, you can only add 8 cameras to the recorder.
