At the center of your security cameras is a cutting edge 8.51 MP image sensor. This sensor is capable of recording 4K video, which is especially important for security camera footage. 4K footage will ultimately provide you with the best chance to capture useable evidence should an incident ever occur.
These 4K resolution security cameras contain 4× the amount of pixels as a 1080p security camera. Instead of recording at a pixel ratio of 1920 × 1080 (a total of 2,073,600 pixels), they can record at a pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 (a total of 8,294,400 pixels). This higher amount of pixels allows for much better digital zooms. This means that when you spot something in your footage that you need to zoom in on, specific details, such as facial features, will remain visible for longer as you zoom in further and further into the image.
The LNB9232S bullet cameras in this system are capable of recording at a real-time 30 frames per second (FPS) recording rate in 4K Ultra HD resolution. This high frame rate will provide you with exceptionally smooth on-screen movement and help capture the precise moment you need for evidence, simply because there are more frames available to choose from. The LNE8950AB domes are also capable of recording 30fps in 2K (4MP) or 15fps in 4K.
There is a built-in microphone within all of your cameras. This will add a whole new level of security monitoring and can provide you with more information (such as voices) should an intrusion ever occur.* It will also help provide more insight into key events, even if they occur off-screen.
* Please note, audio recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Corporation assumes no liability for use of its products that does not conform with local laws.
See further into the dark than ever before. Nocturnal security cameras come with high powered infrared LEDs that flood the scene in front of the camera with infrared lighting. Invisible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, this infrared lighting will allow your security camera to see in complete darkness.
Add external lights around your nocturnal security camera to utilize our revolutionary Color Night Vision technology. With CNV, you'll be able to capture a whole new level of details, such as the color of a car or the color of a person's clothes, which may prove invaluable if needed for evidence.
Less than ideal lighting conditions can impede video quality, but with your Nocturnal security cameras you won't have to worry about that. Your cameras use HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to make sure important events are captured, even in a high-contrast lighting environment. The difference between the darkest point and the brightest point of the video is known as the dynamic range. Your cameras use this difference to automatically adjust the picture's brightness to ensure all overly dark and light sections of the video is compensated for.
These cameras use 3D-DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology to filter out digital noise from low-light scenes, as well as any noise caused by motion. By eliminating graininess, your cameras provide a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection. It will also help reduce video file sizes as well, giving you greater disc space for storage.
When it starts getting dark outside, the camera automatically switches to infrared night vision, thanks to the Active Mechanical Lens Filter (also known as the IR Cut Filter). The IR Cut Filter aids in blocking outside UV and infrared rays from entering the camera lens throughout the day - which would cause discoloration that hinders video quality. This filter also acts as an impediment against other atmospheric effects such as haze to create sharper images with more depth and finer, richer color gradation. As the night turns back into day, the IR filter disengages back to normal settings.
Mother Nature is no match for your security cameras. Rated IP67, they can endure anything from torrential downpours to freezing snowstorms. So go ahead and place them where you need them most.
