This DVR can provide you with exceptionally detailed HD images and smooth on-screen movement. It can be used with our full range of analog security cameras - from 400TVL all the way to 1080p HD. A single RG59 video cable is needed to connect this DVR to your cameras for an easy and flexible installation. Extend the video signal up to 800ft / 242m with a single run of RG59 coaxial cable for larger properties (see documentation for details).

This means that it is extremely easy to upgrade your older DVR security system to a new one. You can also easily swap your older analog cameras for brand new HD ones using the same cabling.

The use of an audio security camera (such as the LEV2750AB) can enhance your security coverage by providing you with more evidence (such as voices) and can expand your security coverage beyond the camera's field of view (FOV).

Multiple recording modes

This DVR is designed to suit your recording needs - choose to record footage continuously, during scheduled times, or only when movement is detected. These recording options can be customized with each camera, which means that you can have your most important cameras recording continuously while other cameras only record during certain times or on motion events. A pre-recording function that goes back to record the five seconds before motion is detected is also built into this DVR, so you never have to worry about missing those first vital moments.

Automatic recovery

There is no need to worry about your security system if there is a power outage. The DV700 Series DVR has an auto-recovery function that will automatically reboot and start recording again once the system regains power. This means that you don't have to do a thing. There is also a Watch Dog feature built-in to this DVR that continuously monitors the system for potential system errors. If this feature ever detects a critical error, it will automatically reboot the system. This helps ensure system stability, keeps your cameras recording, and prevents future system failures.
